Lasalle Residence | South-West

The Lasalle residence is a backyard extension of a townhouse. The first level is located on the same level as the garden so that the interior floor is in continuity with the outdoor space. This configuration provides a more generous ceiling height while distinguishing the extension from the existing volume.

A courtyard garden is located at the heart of the house facing the main staircase to bring an abundance of natural light through the two floors. The rear facade is framed with a gray-blue enamel brick and the openings are rectilinear to further accentuate the transparency towards the garden terrace, a witness to family well-being and friendly encounters.

Role: Lead Architect.
