En cette saison de couleurs d’automne, la poésie trouve refuge au jardin de la Bibliothèque de Sainte-Thérèse. Une installation artistique, ornée d’alexandrins, y déploie ses teintes et invite à la flânerie. Sur les sculptures colorées s’inscrivent les mots de poètes québécois, souffles d’inspiration offerts aux passants. Façonnées d’acier galvanisé et de peinture cuite, ces sculptures prolongent une réflexion sur le vivre-ensemble et l’appropriation d’un lieu. Le jardin se révèle ainsi comme un espace social, où l’art rassemble et où la parole poétique devient partage. Née d’un premier projet d’installation à Pierrefonds, cette démarche poursuit son cheminement en s’enrichissant aujourd’hui d’une dimension lyrique, rendant hommage aux poètes de la région. À l’arrière de la bibliothèque, ce jardin ouvert à tous se découvre à toute heure, comme une halte de sensibilité et de contemplation.

In this season of autumn colors, poetry finds refuge in the garden of the Sainte-Thérèse Library. An artistic installation, adorned with alexandrines, unfolds its hues and invites visitors to wander. On the colorful sculptures are inscribed the words of Québécois poets, breaths of inspiration offered to passersby. Shaped from galvanized steel and baked enamel, these sculptures extend a reflection on living together and the shared appropriation of place. The garden thus becomes a social space, where art brings people together and poetic expression transforms into shared experience. Born from an initial installation project in Pierrefonds, this initiative continues its path by embracing a lyrical dimension, paying tribute to the poets of the region. At the back of the library, this garden is open to all at any time and offers a haven for sensitivity and contemplation.
